460 years of history, unique experiences and beautiful surroundings, That are some of the features that each year attract more than 250.000 visitors to Egeskov Castle. Besides the castle, the park and the exhibitions Egeskov also offers many events that attract visitors from near and far.
“Today many visitors buy their tickets online, but they still have to enter via the access controls, so previously there often were long queues. This is why we invested in the mPOS as an extra access control to validate web tickets and season cards,” Ticketing Manager Susanne Danielsen explains.

The mPoS improves customer experience
“The mPOS works as an extra access control at the entrance. We use it to validate our guests’ season cards and web tickets. We scan the barcode on the season ticket, and the mPOS tells me whether or not the ticket is valid. That’s fast and simple,” Susanne Danielsen explains.
“It is an easy and flexible solution, that we can activate when we get busy – which is quite often. The mPOS helps us ensure that our visitors have a great experience – both at events and throughout the rest of the year.”
