This scenario shows a situation where a customer is going to a birthday party. He is a little late, so he has to be sure that he can pick it up at a store near him. The customer finds a watch in the web store, presses “Reserve in store” and chooses a store nearby.
Now a clerk in the store is logging into the checkout solution. A dialog appears stating that there are new orders to be processed in the store.
The clerk can go down, pick up the watch, and print out a confirmation that can coincide with the item. The clerk then confirms the order to the customer.
When the customer arrives at the store, the clerk scans the reference number from the customer’s text message. The item appears, and the clerk can settle the customer. Click & Collect made very simple.
